Bio

I am an independant curator and producer specialising in performance and immersive installation at the intersections of art, ecology and sustainability.

In 2011 I co-founded ]performance s p a c e [. Leading the organisation with strength and rigour, managing artistic and executive duties, consistently delivering cultural programmes and maintaining multiple venues, until stepping down in 2020. During this time we received funding from

Whilst co-director I led the organisations strategic relocation to Folkestone, facilitating new financial partnerships and developing a sustainable business model.

The force & care with which I delivered our cultural programme greatly contributed to local cultural change; fostering a supportive scene for queer arts, benefitting community cohesion and strengthening rural connections.

Between 2020-23 I developed a sustainable production company, Cosmic-Constructions with Isabel Pina Ferreira. Key projects included Mother House Studios (London), We Get To Choose Our Families (Whitechapel Gallery), Salt & Earth Festival (proposed UNESCO World Heritage Site).

In 2021 I was invited by Screen Archive South East (SASE), in partnership with Queer Heritage South, to Project Manage the Folkestone edition of ‘Our Screen Heritage. Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, I recruited and worked with a team of community curators to produce a series of local archival exhibitions and events.

From August 2022 - August 2025 I worked for University for the Creative Arts (UCA) as their Gallery Curator. During this time I curated exhibitions featuring Andrew Knötting, Webb-Ellis, Rubiane Maia, Daniella Valz Gen, Alicia Radage, David Spero, Catherine Hoffmann and Nastja Säde Rönkkö.

At UCA I received AHRC Knowledge Exchange Funding for: ‘The Student Curatorial Team’ (2022) with Last Fridays, ‘QUEERCALL’ (2024) with Marlborough Productions & Ash McNaughton and ‘Murmerations; Patterns in Nature, Neurodivergence & Creativity’ (2025) with Living Words CIC and an Individual Research Grant for ‘Tick Trick Typtricts’ (2025) with Daniella Valz Gen and Laura Burns.

In 2025 I was awarded Arts Council England Funding for the site-specific production of Nastja Säde Rönkkö’s ‘Survival Guide for a Post-Apocalyptic Child’ at Fort Burgoyne. Press included Aesthetica Magazine top 5 global shows for August 2025.

About

I work with artists & organisations whose work I find urgent and inspiring. With whom I am politically, ethically, emotionally and artistically aligned. These elements are the foundations of my practice.

My practice integrates permaculture principals and methods into creative cultural production; supporting my commitment to sustainability and interest in the intersections of art & ecology.

This approach defines my practice and commitment to creating systems of producing which support marginalised practitioners, including those with caring responsibilities.

I specialise in supporting queer & neurodivergent creatives with practices spanning performance, time-based media and immersive installation.

My curatorial research focuses on queer perspectives of rural & wild spaces.
